GLIDE FOR MILES -  Cross country skiing is a fun, sure way to blast both your upper and lower body in a short amount of time.  There are many groomed trails to choose from across the Island, so you’re sure to find a gorgeous, snowy trail nearby. 4. DIG OUT THE SLEIGH – Remember the joy snow brought you as a kid?  It meant sledding for hours!  Bring out your youthful self and have some fun while giving your legs a great workout.

5. DISCOVER NEW PATHS – Snowshoeing is a low impact activity due to the cushioning of the snow. It can be done pretty much anywhere snow is on the ground and is a great way to get out and see the beauty of snow-covered trees all winter long.

6. HAVE FUN – Try reliving your childhood days by building a snow fort or challenging someone to a snowball fight!  As long as you’re having fun, you’re doing it right!
